Equicizer Gait Details

The Equicizer is not motorized. Riders using proper horse riding skills, rhythm, technique and balance will make the Equicizer come to life and move just like a real horse!

Equicizer's Walk: This is a kind, gentle and relaxing simulation of the horses walk (4 beat gait). Riders of almost any level of ability easily can create this motion using their "core"  muscles. This soothing exercise is great for the body and soul! You can do some nice stretching and balancing exercises during this motion while watching your favorite television program.

(Note: If the rider is a small child (two or under) or anyone that may have a disability, they may not be able to get the motion activated initially, someone standing next to them or riding together in tandem with them can help get them started. In many cases, riders once limited can build the strength, balance, coordination and muscle memory in short period of time to do this simple but so beneficial exercise on their own. The rewards and feeling of satisfaction for these riders are incredible!)

Equicizer's Trot: The Equicizer has only a one beat trot motion. Riders can post with or with out stirrups and create this motion for a very effective, powerful exercise that builds incredible leg, abs and back strength. Also helps riders with their rhythm and practicing proper body positioning.

(Note: The Equicizer is not a trot simulator. Also the parts and technology of creating the true simulation of the trot, may cost thousands more to customers. The idea is great for some, but this has not been our priority for our customers or us at this time. We are researching a safe and economical way to do this for the future if at all possible. Their has been some new products recently come to market that claim themselves as riding simulators, though, buyers beware!)

Equicizer's Lope/Canter: With just a bit more energy from the rider from the walk, the Equicizer gives the rider the sensation of being off in 3 beat gate of a lope or canter. This requires more exercise and strength then the walk. The faster the rider goes, the more resistance and exercise is created. Great fun to try and practice proper body positioning, technique through transitions of walk trot canter half halts etc.

Equicizer's Full Gallop/Run: The Equicizer was originally designed and used by the world’s top jockeys over the past 20 years. Again, safely manually driven, they are built and capable of handling any speed and stamina a rider can possibly exert. For jockeys and any riders involved with Steeple Chase, Timber, Eventing, Cross Country, Endurance, etc..., building strength, fitness, stamina, weight loss, building your lungs and heart for cardio workouts, the Equicizer does not get tired, you do!
